In my recent post "Kicking and Screaming…" I mentioned the difficulty of finding local grass-fed meat. To my great surprise, I just discovered some of the regional grass-fed farmers in my area have banded together and formed a co-op which opens for business in May!
The Appalachian Farm to Family Cooperative has a few members whom I already know and respect, and I look forward to getting to know a few more as they grow and flourish. I'm already working up my first order!
