FCC Internet Control worries me

Yet another industry under political control... (notice the camera in the photo above?)

The Wall Street Journal carried this
story about the Federal Appeals ruling last month that the FCC lacks the authority to regulate the internet, so the government just changed the rules. Slick, huh?

I agree that opens the door for corporate lobbying to bend rules in favor of big business. Actually, I think perhaps some things should be better controlled, such as porn sites because of their easy access by children and teens.

I'm just worried that sooner or later the government will get around to restricting Free Speech in an effort to curb legitimate dissent.
