Where My Readers Come From

Visitor Locations, Sept. 21, 2010

I have an invisible counter that tells me how many visitors, and what search engine/query (if they used one). It also shows me a map of visitor locations. Pretty cool, huh?

  1. wow, how did you do this google map - visitor thing? I'd like to do this on one of our community websites, pretty cool indeed!! (I am the red dot in New Zealand on the other side of the world! Cheers. E.

  2. Go to StatCounter.com; there's a free edition available.

  3. I just wish I had neighbors! (Actually I do, but nothing in common with them, not even gardening.)

  4. I know how you feel about neighbors, mine all think I'm crazy! But then this is farm country, and big ag has bought them all, they've eaten it all their lives, and depend on it at least indirectly, but then do not understand why they're getting every disease that curses our country now in numbers higher than the places that seem like they would be less healthy. I think some of them take it as a personal attack, but I've always felt like I was on the defensive being so out-numbered. I have your link saved, so do I show up on your reader map? Keep up your sane work! o.o ;)

  5. That map above is merely a screen shot of a map showing visitors on the day it was taken... it is NOT a 'live' map hosted on this site, nor is it accessible to anyone but me.

There is one map I should be able to put on this site so everyone could see it live, but every time I've tried it, the site freezes. Sorry.
